Cy Woods completes season in regional finals

December 7, 2009—The Cypress Woods High School football team ended its season with a 55-12 loss to Round Rock Stony Point in the Region II-5A finals at the Berry Center on Saturday night.
The Wildcats finish the year with an 11-3 record, as the third-place team in District 15-5A and regional finalists.
“We had a great run this year. We experienced things that many athletes and coaches never get to experience in lifetimes,” said Cypress Woods head coach David Jones. “We are extremely proud of our players and I am extremely proud of my coaches for their efforts and for the willingness to sacrifice for others.”
