Texans mascot visits Jowell ES students

December 18, 2009—The Houston Texans mascot, TORO, visited Jowell Elementary School on Friday to promote his nutrition and fitness program, TORO’s Training Table—presented by the Houston Texans and BP America.
The program features TORO interacting via video with players, cheerleaders and the team dietitian, while explaining the value of good fitness and nutrition habits, as well as medical issues related to them.
The Jowell PTO sponsored TORO’s two performances on Friday as a gift to the students for their hard work throughout the year.
