Cook, Yeager to give pre-TMEA concerts

January 13, 2010—The Cook Middle School Advanced Girls Choir and the Yeager Elementary School Honor Choir will give pre-TMEA concerts in upcoming weeks. The choirs will present the same musical numbers that they will perform at the Texas Music Educators Association 2010 Clinic and Convention, to be held Feb. 10-13 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio.

The Cook Advanced Girls Choir, led by director Mica Kolb, will perform at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 21 at Cypress Ridge High School (7900 N. Eldridge Pkwy.).

Cook’s choir will perform again along with the Yeager Honor Choir, led by director Lisa Trewin, in a concert at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at The Foundry United Methodist Church (8350 Jones Road).

Both concerts are free and open to the public.
