Jersey Village students win TV honors at fall nationals

January 29, 2010—Three Jersey Village High School students received honors at the Student Television Network (STN) Fall Nationals, the results of which were announced on Monday, Jan. 25.

Nick Garza and Chris Baker placed second for their public service announcement, Actions, while Adam Mendry received an honorable mention award for his public service announcement, Don’t Gamble.

“I am very proud of the work that was done by these talented young men,” said Cindy Stoker, Jersey Village TV coordinator. “It is wonderful to see them get national recognition.”
