Girls basketball playoffs begin Feb. 15
February 11, 2010—District 15-5A girls’ basketball teams completed district competition on Tuesday, and the following four teams qualified for the UIL postseason: Cy-Fair High School, first place; Cypress Falls High School, second place; Cypress Creek, third place; and Cypress Woods, fourth place.
The Region II-5A bi-district playoff pairings are scheduled as follows:

Cy-Fair will face Round Rock Stony Point on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. at Rudder Gym (3251 Austin’s Colony Pkwy.) in Bryan;

Cypress Falls will face Round Rock on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. at Giddings High School (2249 N. Main St.);

Cypress Creek will face Cedar Park on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Rudder Gymnasium in Bryan; and

Cypress Woods will face Georgetown on Monday, Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. at Brenham High School (525 A.H. Ehrig Dr.).
