All-district boys basketball team released
March 10, 2010 — The All-District 15-5A Boys Basketball Team was released this week, with 34 CFISD student-athletes earning First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mention recognition.
Additionally, 23 players were named to the Academic All-District Team.
Superlative awards went to Langham Creek High School senior Mackey McKnight, Most Valuable Player; Cy-Fair High School sophomore Chase Brogna, Newcomer of the Year; Cypress Ridge High School junior Brandon Swannegan, Defensive Player of the Year; and Cypress Woods High School head coach Chris Draudt, Coach of the Year.
