Boys’ soccer teams begin playoffs

March 15, 2010 —Four boys’ soccer teams wrapped up their District 15-5A competition last week and will begin the Region II-5A playoffs next week.

Cypress Falls High School won the district title, while Cypress Woods was the runner-up, Cy-Fair was third place and Langham Creek was fourth.

The bi-district playoff schedule is as follows:

• Cypress Falls will play Cedar Park Vista Ridge at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23 at Brenham High School (525 A.H. Ehrig Dr.);

• Cypress Woods will face Round Rock at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23 at the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road);

• Cy-Fair will meet Round Rock Westwood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23 at the Round Rock Sports Complex (10211 W. Parmer Lane); and

• Langham Creek will match up with Georgetown at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23 at Georgetown High School (2211 N. Austin Ave.).
