2010-2011 Before- and After-school care (Club Rewind) registration now open

April 6, 2010 — Club Rewind, CFISD’s new before- and after-school program, is set to kick off with the 2010-2011 school year. Program registration began on April 1, 2010 and will continue year-round.

Club Rewind will be on site at each elementary campus. The fee-based program will offer morning care and/or afternoon care. The students will be divided by age/grade at a staff-to-student ratio of 1 to 20 for morning care and 1 to 15 for after-school care.

Club Rewind morning care begins at 6:45 a.m. and includes a variety of social games and computer fun. Club Rewind after-school care begins at the end of each school day and operates until 6:30 p.m. The program will provide a variety of activities, including the following topics: arts/culture, healthy living, literacy, recreational games, math/science and leadership. Activities will rotate from movement to hands-on, as students move throughout the program.
