Football teams garner television coverage

October 6, 2010 —A pair of upcoming CFISD football matchups will appear in the local television spotlight this month.
The Cy-Fair vs. Cypress Falls game, scheduled for Friday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. at Pridgeon Stadium (11499 Bobcat Road), will be featured in the pre-game show Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Game Day, which will air from 6 to 6:30 p.m. on Fox Sports Southwest.
The interactive DCTF Game Day set will be on site at Pridgeon Stadium for several hours leading up to kickoff for fans to appear on camera and meet DCTF staff and sponsors prior to taping. Show host Jeff Powers will preview the game between the Bobcats and Eagles as well as include news of the day in high school football.
The Cypress Springs vs. Jersey Village game, scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. at the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road), will air live on Comcast Sports Southwest (Ch. 129). Play-by-play announcer David Saltzman and color analyst Nate Griffin will call the 17-5A matchup for CSS.
