Football players named TSWA All-State
February 8, 2011 — Five district football players were named to the 2011 Collin Street Bakery/Texas Sports Writers Association (TSWA) Class 5A All-State Football Team on Feb. 5:

Cypress Woods High School senior Weston Card was selected to the Second Team as a defensive back and to the Honorable Mention team as a kick returner;

Cypress Ridge High School senior Andy Wickman was selected to the Third Team as a punter;

Cypress Ridge senior Collin Callahan was selected to the Honorable Mention Team as a linebacker;
-
Cypress Woods senior Colton Huntsman was selected to the Honorable Mention team as a quarterback; and
-
Cypress Creek senior Kelyon Hollis was selected to the Honorable Mention team as a defensive lineman.
TSWA members are sports writers and sports editors from daily and weekly newspapers from across the state of Texas as well as sports internet services. They are committed to promoting the accomplishments of teams at the high school level while also featuring individual feats of student athletes.
