Transfer applications due by June 1, 2011

February 16, 2011 — Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is accepting open transfer applications for select schools beginning April 1, 2011.

The transfer applications must be completed and turned in to campus registrars by Wednesday, June 1, 2011. The applications are available at all schools or online at http://www.cfisd.net/dept2/studentservices/admissions.htm.

A list of open campuses will be posted online and will also be available in the registrar’s office at all campuses. A limited number of schools will have a specified number of designated openings for transfer students.

Transfers will be approved on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is a non-refundable fee that must be submitted with the transfer application.

The district does not provide bus transportation for transfer students. Transfer students in grades 9-12 generally are ineligible to participate in varsity athletics for one year from the first day of attendance at the requested campus.
