Journalism students honored by Press Women of Texas

April 6, 2011 — Journalism students from Cypress Falls, Cy-Fair, Cypress Creek and Jersey Village high schools were named winners this week in the Edith Fox King High School Journalism Contest, organized by the Press Women of Texas (PWT).
First-place winners have been sent to the National Federation of Press Women for judging in the national contest—results of which should be available by May 1.
The awards will be distributed at the annual PWT conference on Saturday, April 30 in Georgetown.
Competing among more than 350 entries statewide, the following students brought home first-, second-, third-place and honorable mention honors:
