Boys’ soccer players made academic all-state team

April 25, 2011—Seventeen CFISD boys’ soccer players have been named to the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches (TASCO) 2011 Academic All-State Team.
TASCO’s criteria for the academic all-state team are strict, focusing on the full body of a player’s work rather than a single year. To be considered, players must be a graduating senior and either rank in the top 10 percent of their graduating class or have a 90.0-percent numerical average in all courses over their four-year high school career.
