‘Take Our Child to Work Day’ set for June 6

March 29, 2012—Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, in partnership with other Houston-area school districts, will participate in “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” on Wednesday, June 6, 2012.

Because of the district’s agreement to participate in this manner, students will not be excused from school to participate in the national “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” scheduled for late April.

The district’s decision to participate in this event in June rather than April allows the activity to not interfere with a regular instructional school day. It also provides local businesses with the freedom to determine the appropriate level of participation for business owners and their employees’ children.
