Softball players selected to all-state teams

July 5, 2012—Ten CFISD softball players have been named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) Class 5A All-State or Academic All-State softball teams.

Cy-Fair High School senior Paige Murray was CFISD’s lone representative on the TGCA All-State team.

The following softball players were named to the Academic All-State team:

• seniors Jenna El-Aazami and Hannah Kelley, Cy-Fair High School;

• seniors Lauren Fairman, Jordan Kunz, Taylor Kunz and Michele Ramos, Cypress Lakes High School; and

• seniors Lynsey Patterson, Margeaux Petrash and Ashley Rodenbeck, Cypress Ranch High School.
