CFISD names new principal for ALC-West

July 23, 2012—Stacie Wicke, the associate principal at Jersey Village High School, was named the principal at the Alternative Learning Center–West on Wednesday. Wicke replaces Wendi Witthaus, who was named the principal at Hopper Middle School in May. Wicke began her new role on Monday.
Wicke has 17 years of experience in the education profession. She served as a teacher and coach at Poteet High School and Pleasanton Junior High School between 1995-1998. In 1998, she joined CFISD as a personal fitness teacher at Jersey Village High School and was selected as an assistant principal in 2002. She led in that capacity for three years prior to being named the associate principal, a position she has held for the past seven years.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in kinesiology from Texas Lutheran College and her Master of Education from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Together, we will continue to have a positive impact on students’ lives and help them realize that their dreams can become a reality one choice at a time,” Wicke said. “I look forward to working with all stakeholders to ensure that our students are on the ROAD to success.”
