Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) and the Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce partnered together for the sixth annual CFISD Bus Buddies program during the first three days of school, Aug. 27-29.
During the partnership, a total of 333 community volunteers rode school buses between 2:45 and 4:45 p.m. to ensure that students were safely transported to their proper drop-off points.
A total of 48 businesses and organizations participated in the program, serving the district’s elementary school campuses:
