Board Candidate Forum scheduled for Oct. 16

Oct. 5, 2012—Cypress-Fairbanks ISD will hold a Board Candidate Forum on Tuesday, Oct. 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the theater of the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road).

Candidates for the Nov. 6 Board of Trustees Election are Darcy Mingoia, Lillian Wanjagi and incumbent Bill Morris for Position 3; and Kevin H. Hoffman and Angela M. Wesley for Position 4.

The forum will begin with the candidates introducing themselves and providing relevant information concerning their candidacy, followed by a formal question-and-answer session with Jason Culpepper, Houston Metro publisher for Community Impact Newspaper.

The Candidate Forum will air live on CFTV (Comcast Cable Channel 16) and can also be viewed live through CFTV Online on the district website (www.cfisd.net). The forum will be available as a video-on-demand on the website on Oct. 19.

Those who are unable to attend the forum may submit questions in advance:

• Please indicate whether your question should be asked of all candidates or an individual candidate.

• If there are more questions than time permits, like questions will be clustered together, so that candidates do not respond to similar questions, redundantly.

• Questions may be submitted through the website until 3 p.m. on Oct. 16.

• Questions will remain anonymous.
