BECOME A PARAPROFESSIONAL
Thank you for your interest in applying as a paraprofessional for Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. As you begin the process of applying, please be sure to follow the steps below.
Applying for “year round” posted positions (e.g., instructional aide, LIFE Skills aide, administrative secretary, etc.) places your name in a pool of applicants who wish to be considered for positions as they become available in the district.
Applying for “non-year round” posted positions will have the statement, “Deadline to Apply” at the bottom of the posting. A specific date will be listed along with the statement, “…or until filled.”
STEP FOUR (IF NEEDED):
If the job posting indicates that a proficiency test is required, please complete the para testing form and a testing account will be created for you. You will need to enter your email, first name, and last name. You only need to complete the form ONE TIME. Please use the email used in your application or the test will not be valid.
Once your account has been created, we will send you instructions to access the test.
- All first-time paraprofessional applicants are required to submit proof of high school graduation or GED equivalent.
- If you received your education outside the United States, all educational documents must be evaluated by an academic credential evaluation agency.
