School Opened: 2014
On November 12, 2012, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD made the wise choice to name middle school 18 for former superintendent of schools, David Anthony, Ed. D.  Namesake Dr. David Anthony served Cypress-Fairbanks ISD for seven years before retiring in 2011. He served as a superintendent in public schools for a total of 24 years, a principal for 9 years, and a teacher for four years.

Designed by Bay Architects, David Anthony, Ed. D., Middle School is located at 10215 Greenhouse Road in the Towne Lake Subdivision. The campus welcomed students in August 2014. This three story structure uses each space for innovative learning and academic growth. From the learning courtyard to classroom instructional areas, the campus design lends itself to be a teaching tool for students.
