Erin Slavik

Erin Slavik received a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas.

In 2010, she began her career in CFISD. Ms. Slavik has served at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. She spent four years teaching English Language Arts prior to moving into leadership roles in CFISD.

In 2014, Ms. Slavik began her leadership work and served as an instructional coach for both English and Social Studies at Watkins Middle School for four years. She then moved to the Director of Instruction Helping Teacher role for two years at Watkins Middle School, and she most recently completed three years as the Academic Achievement Specialist at Cypress Lakes High School.

Ms. Slavik has been recognized as the Watkins Middle School Spotlight teacher in 2014, a CFISD nominee for Texas Humanities Teacher, and was awarded designation as an Elementary English Language Arts model teacher. She has written district curriculum as well as presented at the Teacher Leadership Conference in CFISD.

Ms. Slavik is honored to have the opportunity to serve the Langham Creek Community.
