School Opened: 1956

Mary and Forrest Arnold contributed a total of 84 years to Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. Mr. Arnold was hired in 1937 as the principal at Rural High School #5. At the time of his death in 1974, Mr. Arnold was the district's Director of Vocational Education. Mrs. Arnold began teaching at Rural High School #5 in 1935 as one of seven teachers. She taught all subjects during her tenure with the District. The Arnolds both worked at Cypress-Fairbanks High School after the consolidation of the Cypress and Fairbanks school systems in 1939. Mrs. Arnold retired in 1981.
