School Opened: 1967

Holbrook is named after Lillie Holbrook. Ms. Holbrook taught at Rusk Baptist Junior College for four years. After teaching English, Spanish, and history at a little country school in Cherokee County, she came to the Fairbanks school district in 1932 as one of three teachers of 84 pupils, where she gave 32 years of dedicated service.
