The 12th annual Rigor, Relevance and Relationships (RRR) Leadership Conference welcomed 86 school districts to a three-day educator professional development session at the Berry Center June 7-9.
The CFISD Board of Trustees voted during its June 13 meeting to pass a 2022-2023 budget that will include a salary increase of 2% as well as recruitment and retention stipends for professional, hourly, and paraprofessional staff.
The ISC office hours will be 7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. during the summer schedule. June 6 through July 29, all district facilities and campuses will be closed on Fridays.
The week of July 4, the ISC will be closed on July 4 but will be open July 5-8.
Cypress Woods HS graduate Eshal Warsi placed third in the National Center for State Courts Civics Education Essay Contest.
CFISD EdTech will host a virtual Digital Learning Conference on July 26-27 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Hamilton MS students William Choi-Kim and Rex Esch each earned top-three finishes at their respective Houston Regional Final of the National Science Bee and National History Bee.
Cy-Fair HS Air Force JROTC Unit TX-20057 joined more than 360 across the United States and globally to receive the 2021-2022 Distinguished Unit Award.
Kenneth Henry, elementary and middle school director of student services, was named the assistant superintendent for school leadership on May 31.
