CFISD welcomed students back to school on the first day of the 2022-2023 school year, Aug. 22.
To help open doors to college and career readiness for students, the CFISD guidance and counseling department coordinated and completed its third Select Institute Summer Project.
Carrie McCollister, former assistant principal at A. Robison Elementary, was named the new principal at Adam Elementary on Aug. 16.
CFISD’s communication department held the annual Fall Translators’ Workshop on Aug. 19 at the Berry Center. More than 60 staff members attended the training, representing 35 schools and departments.
CFISD welcomed Bus Buddies volunteers on the first two days of school (Aug. 22-23), as they helped young bus riders reach their proper drop-off points.
