The Cypress Creek, Cypress Falls and Cypress Springs HS boys’ basketball teams advanced past the area round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs and moved on to the regional quarterfinals.

Cook MS eighth grade student Lorena Badillo won first place by correctly spelling the word phalanges in the 10th round of the annual districtwide Middle School Spelling Bee.

Representatives from The Met Church’s The HUB and Cy-Fair Christian Church visited the staff at the Leonard Brautigam Center on Feb. 20 to officially announce their Adopt-a-School partnerships with the campus.

Lonnie Madison, campus athletic coordinator and head football coach for The Woodlands College Park HS, has been named the Bridgeland HS campus athletic coordinator and head football coach.

CFISD was among the 71 educational organizations recognized for following best practices in the area of purchasing operations at the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) annual conference.
