High School Choral Institute
June 9-11, 2026 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Cypress Springs HS

This camp is for students currently enrolled in grades 8-11 who are enrolled in choir and are interested in learning about the All-State process, music preparation, and audition success. This unique camp experience is FREE to qualified CFISD choir students.

Double Reed Camp
June 1 - 4, 2026 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Aragon MS

This camp is for CFISD oboists and bassoonists who are entering 7th – 9th grades in the Fall of 2026. This camp will be taught by instructors from Bocal Majority who will teach double reed fundamentals, reed making skills and performance skills. This unique camp experience is FREE to qualified CFISD oboe and bassoon students. Participation is limited.

High School Jazz Camp
June 1 - June 4, 2026 from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Cypress Springs HS

This camp is for students currently enrolled in grades 8-11 and who are interested in Jazz Music. Students must play one of the following instruments: alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, trumpet, tenor trombone, bass trombone, drum set, percussion, guitar, bass guitar, upright bass, piano or voice. Current CFISD students who are in band, choir or orchestra may apply. THERE IS NO PREREQUISITE OF FORMER JAZZ EXPERIENCE. Participation is limited.

HS Mariachi Camp
June 1 - June 4, 2026 from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Cypress Springs HS

This camp is for students currently enrolled in grades 8-11 and in either band, choir, or orchestra at one of our MS or HS campuses. Students who apply should have prior performance experience on either violin, guitar, voice, trumpet, guitarron or vihuela, or be willing to take lessons (free of charge) on Vihuela or Guitarron-Bass Guitar. THERE IS NO PREREQUISITE OF FORMER MARIACHI EXPERIENCE. Participation is limited.

High School String Orchestra Camp
June 1 - June 4, 2026 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Cypress Woods HS

This summer, CFISD will be offering a string camp to all string orchestra students that will be enrolled in a CFISD high school orchestra class in 2026-2027, regardless of skill level or prior experience. Students will choose their level, either Region/All-State Intensive or Advanced High School Orchestral Skills. Middle School Region experience and/or proficiency in upper positions is recommended for the Region/All-State level. This camp is completely free of charge for all students!
