Changing Network Password

• Student passwords may carry over year to year; they have a 365-day limit until they expire.

If a student’s password has expired:

• They should be able to log in to their Chromebook but will be prompted to change their password when trying to access my.cfisd.net, textbooks, etc.
• Passwords can be reset through Classlink or Stugo.

New-to-CFISD

• Students will be set with the default password of CfisdMMDD
  (The “C” is capitalized; two-digit month and two-digit day of student’s birth, e.g. May 6 = 0506).

Student passwords can be reset

By the student, parent, or a staff member assisting a student while on the CFISD network.

Information needed:

• Student ID number

• Full Last Name

• Birth date (format: yyyy-mm-dd, with dashes)

• Zip Code (from home address in eSchool registration)

CFISD students and staff can reset their passwords through Classlink.

1. Login to my.cfisd.net

2. Click on the silhouette in the upper right of Classlink to access your profile.

3. Click on Settings

4. Click on Recovery

5. Click on Change Password

6. Type your old password and a new password

7. Click Save
