Destination Imagination is open to ALL students! Contact your campus to join or form a new team.
Destination Imagination is a project-based learning experience that applies the creative process across seven areas—technology, science, engineering, fine arts, improvisation, service learning, and early learning. It is also a fun, hands-on system of learning that fosters students’ creativity, courage, and curiosity through open-ended challenges. Students use the creative process to turn their ideas into reality and learn invaluable skills through the process. Participants learn patience, flexibility, persistence, ethics, respect for others and their ideas, and the collaborative problem-solving process. Students gain the 21st century skills -- creative and critical thinking, collaboration, and project management -- needed to thrive in school, in careers, and beyond.
Teams have the opportunity to showcase their innovative challenge solutions at Regional and Affiliate competitions and vie for a spot at Global Finals—the world’s largest celebration of creativity.
