Media Inquiries: All requests to interview an athlete or coach on campus should be directed to the CFISD Communications Department at 281-807-8939 or e-mailed to Leslie Francis, Assistant Superintendent for Communication and Community Relations (leslie.francis@cfisd.net). Please do not arrive at a campus unannounced, whether for an interview or to take photos or videos.

Cypress-Fairbanks ISD and the Athletics Department reserve the right to decline requests and prohibit access to anyone who fails to follow media policies.

We appreciate the interest and media coverage provided to CFISD athletics by the many media community members. We want to do all we can to support you and provide you with a quality experience. Media Policies & Procedures

Varsity Football (Cy-Fair FCU & Ken Pridgeon Stadiums)

Media credentials must be requested each week. Requests may be submitted as early as 7:00 a.m. on Monday each week and will conclude 24 hours before each game requested. Submit all requests by completing the credential form at the following link: https://cyfairisd.formstack.com/forms/media_request

If your credentials are approved for the week, a confirmation email will be sent.
Access to the stadium, field, or press box will only be granted with confirmation of proper credentials. Requested and approved media passes can be picked up at the following stadium locations preceding the contest:
- Cy-Fair FCU Stadium: VIP Entrance @ mid-point of the home side of the stadium (double glass doors)
- Ken Pridgeon Stadium: VIP Lobby located behind home ticket booth (access through pass gate)
Pressbox access is limited in capacity, with priority given to media outlets that have historically covered our programs. When utilizing the above link, all media members must list the type of access requested (pressbox, field, or stands).
Limited time will be given after the game for postgame interviews.
Each campus athletic program will be allowed to designate one photographer per campus to memorialize the contest. We ask that up to two photographers from that company attend on-campus contests. Any photographs taken by the approved organization will be made available digitally for the campus or district athletic program free of charge if requested.
All games played at CFISD stadiums will be streamed live on TexanLive.com.
Any postgame live shots or setups must be requested and approved by the end of the day on Tuesday each week.
Sideline access will be limited. Team boxes will be extended from the 20-yard line to the 20-yard line (see diagram). Credentialed photographers and videographers can travel from one end of the field to the other through the team box. However, they will not be allowed to remain in the team box. Photos and videos must be taken only from the designated media areas on our stadium media maps.

Cross-Country/Team Tennis

Access must be requested at least 72 hours before the event to allow for coordination and communication between the athletic department and race directors/tennis coaches.
Access is requested by emailing Special Events Coordinator Ana Ramirez at ana.ramirez2@cfisd.net.
Limited time will be allocated after the game for postgame interviews.

Any photographs taken by the approved organization will be made available digitally for the campus or district athletic program free of charge if requested. This photographer will not need to go through the district request process but must seek approval from the campus athletic program.

Volleyball/Basketball

Credentials will be issued on a first-come-first-served basis. If your credentials are approved for the contest, you will receive an email.
Limited time will be given after the game for postgame interviews.
Photos can be taken from the designated areas shown below. Sideline courtside access will not be allowed.
Each campus athletic program will be allowed to designate one photographer per campus to memorialize the contest. Any photographs taken by the approved organization will be made available digitally for the campus or district athletic program free of charge if requested. The designated campus photographer (typically a yearbook photographer) will not need to go through the district request process but must seek approval from the campus athletic program. However, there will need to be a visible credential for the designated person.

HIGH SCHOOL CAMPUS:
- Media members will check in with ticket sellers and present their media credentials. Access to the event will only be granted after the proper credentials are confirmed. o Media members may sit in the stands and take pictures.
- When courtside, all media is required to stay within the designated courtside areas. Failure to do so may result in removal from the event or future events (please see the diagram below).
BERRY CENTER ARENA:
- Media members will check in at the Berry Center Entrance #2 preceding the contest. Access will only be granted with confirmation of proper credentials.
- When courtside, all media is required to stay within the designated courtside areas. Failure to do so may result in removal from the event or future events (please see the diagram below).
- Media members may sit at the media table and take pictures.
