CFISD schools offer summer athletic camps for elementary, middle, and high school students. Students can only attend camps within their zoned feeder pattern unless a transfer has been approved for the 2025-2026 school year.

The Houston Methodist Cy-Hoops Invitational was established in 2009. The basketball tournament has 24 teams including the 12 Cypress-Fairbanks ISD boys’ varsity teams.

CALI (the CFISD Athletics Leadership Initiative), partnered with the BEAR Foundation and it was a big success! The BEAR Foundation is the only 501(c)(3) organization working with Harris County CPS and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
