Bus Buddies is a volunteer program that pairs community members with CFISD to support elementary students during their first days of school. Each elementary bus is assigned one “Bus Buddy” volunteer for the first two days, helping ensure our youngest riders get off at the correct locations safely and confidently. Volunteers may serve one or both days, with an approximate time commitment of just two hours—and all CFISD buses are air-conditioned!

Online registration for 2026 Bus Buddies is now open! Every effort will be made to accommodate your selection of campus to serve. We appreciate your willingness to help our students!
