Jersey Village golfer earns sixth-place finish at Class 6A tournament
Jersey Village High School senior Daniela Palmeros tied for sixth place in the girls’ UIL Golf State Championship on April 28-29.
May 15, 2025—Jersey Village High School senior Daniela Palmeros tied for sixth place at the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Golf State Tournament on April 28-29 at White Wing Golf Club in Georgetown.
Palmeros made her fourth consecutive state appearance, posting a two-round score of 152 (73-79) to earn her top-10 finish.
“It’s hard to put into words just how proud I am of Daniela Palmeros,” said Carrie Schneider, Jersey Village golf coach. “In four incredible years at Jersey Village High School, she has built a legacy that few can match. She has achieved more than 20 tournament victories, more top-two finishes than we can count, two district titles, two regional championships and four consecutive appearances at the state tournament. Every step of the way, Daniela has led with humility, strength and an unshakable commitment to excellence. What she has accomplished on the course is historic, but what she has given to this team through her leadership, her heart and her example, means even more.”
