Fort Bend Marshall High School won the first-place title in the 15th annual Houston Methodist Cy-Hoops Invitational at the Berry Center on December 14. Marshall defeated Mansfield Summit, 43-38, for the championship.
Dec. 19, 2024—Fort Bend Marshall High School defeated Mansfield Summit High School, 43-38, in the championship game of the 15th annual Houston Methodist Cy-Hoops Invitational on Dec. 14 at the Berry Center.
Mansfield Summit finished as the invitational runner-up after defeating Cypress Creek High School (46-44) in the semifinal round. The Cougars earned the third-place title after defeating CE King High School (64-59), placing CE King fourth in the championship bracket. Waxahachie High School placed fifth after defeating Summer Creek, 63-53.

Cypress Springs High School won the consolation championship in a close matchup with Cypress Ranch High School, 47-44.
