Six CFISD seniors receive QuestBridge Match Scholarships
Cypress Creek High School senior Darryl Brocken was named one of six CFISD seniors to receive a QuestBridge Match Scholarship. The Match Scholarship connects high school seniors from low socioeconomic backgrounds with full four-year scholarships to one of 52 different QuestBridge partner colleges and universities. Brocken matched with the University of Notre Dame.

Cypress Creek High School senior Darryl Brocken was named one of six CFISD seniors to receive a QuestBridge Match Scholarship. Jan. 10, 2025—Six CFISD seniors were recently selected as 2024 QuestBridge Match Scholarship recipients.  

Cypress Creek High School senior Darryl Brocken matched with the University of Notre Dame, Cypress Springs High School seniors Marwah Wesal and Saadika Salauddin matched with Duke University and Vanderbilt University, respectively, Cypress Woods High School senior Amanda Zhang matched with Rice University and Jersey Village High School seniors Bryan Canales and Trang Phan matched with Yale University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), respectively.

QuestBridge National College Match is a national program that connects high-achieving high school seniors from low socioeconomic backgrounds with full four-year scholarships to one of 52 different QuestBridge partner colleges and universities. The six CFISD seniors are among 2,627 seniors from across the country to receive a Match Scholarship. 

The four-year Match Scholarship is provided by partnering college and universities and covers the full cost of attendance, including tuition, room and board, books and supplies and travel expenses.

Cypress Woods High School senior Amanda Zhang was named a 2024 QuestBridge Match Scholarship recipient. Zhang matched with Rice University.

The 2024 Match Scholarship recipients have an average unweighted GPA of 3.94 and approximately 92% are in the top 10% of their graduating class.

Since 2003, the QuestBridge National College Match has successfully connected more than 17,000 students with full scholarships at partnering schools.
