Three CFISD football teams advance to area playoffs

Nov. 21, 2024—The Bridgeland, Cypress Ranch and Cypress Falls high school football teams won their respective bi-district postseason games and will advance to the area playoffs this week.

In the Division I Region II-6A playoff bracket, Bridgeland defeated Klein Oak, 24-17, on Nov. 15 at Cy-Fair FCU Stadium. The Bears will face Conroe on Friday Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. at Tomball ISD Stadium (20235 Cypress Rosehill Road).

Cypress Ranch defeated Klein Cain, 27-17, on Nov. 15 at Klein Memorial Stadium. The Mustangs will face The Woodlands on Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. at Cy-Fair FCU Stadium (8877 Barker Cypress Road).

In the Division I Region III-6A playoff bracket, Cypress Falls beat Houston Bellaire, 59-7, on Nov. 14 at Pridgeon Stadium. The Golden Eagles will face Katy on Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. at Tully Stadium (1050 Dairy Ashford Street).

The Cy-Fair High School Bobcats ended their season as Division I Region III bi-district finalists following a 23-19 loss to Houston Lamar on Nov. 15.

The Cypress Woods High School Wildcats ended their season as Division II Region II bi-district finalists after a 32-29 loss to Klein Collins on Nov. 14.

The Cypress Springs High School Panthers ended their season as Division II Region II bi-district finalists after a 35-25 loss to Tomball on Nov. 16.

Cypress Falls High School defeated Houston Bellaire, 59-7, on Nov. 14 at Pridgeon Stadium. The Golden Eagles advance to the Class 6A area round playoffs to face Katy on Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. at Tully Stadium.

Tickets for the Bridgeland vs. Conroe and Cypress Ranch vs. The Woodlands games are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Pre-sale tickets for the Cypress Falls vs. Katy game are $8 for adults, $6 for students and $10 on game day.

Cypress Ranch fans can purchase tickets starting at 2 p.m. on game day. Tickets can be purchased using the following online ticket links:
