Dec. 20, 2024—Three CFISD water polo athletes earned All-State honors and accolades for the 2024-2025 school year from the Texas Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association (TISCA).

TISCA is the principle aquatic organization for interscholastic swimming, diving and water polo in Texas. Each year TISCA recognizes outstanding achievements of coaches and athletes at the state level in aquatic sports.

Cypress Ranch High School senior Jagger Lo was among 18 CFISD water polo athletes named to the 2024-2025 Texas Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association’s All-Region team.

Cypress Ranch High School senior Jagger Lo received an honorable mention to the 2024 TISCA All-State water polo team.

Cypress Creek High School junior Selah Thomas was named to the second All-State girls’ team. Cypress Creek senior Samson Hurey and Cypress Ranch senior Jagger Lo both received honorable mentions to the All-State boys’ team.

“We are extremely proud of these athletes and their respective coaches,” said Jonathan Mayer, CFISD director of aquatics. “Congratulations on an outstanding 2024 season!”
