Oct. 3, 2025—Cypress-Fairbanks ISD will hold a Board of Trustees candidate forum for the upcoming 2025 election on Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 7-9 p.m. in the theater of the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road).

The forum will give the CFISD community an opportunity to hear from candidates leading up to Election Day on Nov. 4.
The following candidates filed by the Aug. 18 deadline and drew for ballot position on Aug. 26:

- Terrance Edmond
- Lesley Guilmart
- Radele Walker
Position 6
- Scott Henry
- Cleveland Lane Jr.
- Natalie Blasingame
Position 7
- Elecia Jones
- Kendra Camarena
- George Edwards Jr.
All candidates are available for a community meet-and-greet session from 5:45-6:45 p.m. in the Berry Center atrium. From 7-9 p.m., candidates are seated at a table in front of a live audience, while the event is streamed on the CFISD YouTube channel. The forum will begin with candidates introducing themselves and providing relevant information concerning their candidacy, followed by a formal question-and-answer session moderated by Jason Culpepper, Houston market president for Community Impact Newspaper.
Candidate forum guests are reminded that a clear bag policy will be in place at the Berry Center for the Oct. 15 event. The candidate forum will air live on the district website and YouTube channel.
All questions must be submitted by visiting this link. In order to cover a variety of topics, similar questions will be consolidated.
- Questions may be reworded to ensure conciseness.
- Questions will be randomly drawn by the moderator.
- The number of questions asked will depend on the time available.
- All candidates will receive the same number of questions.
- Each candidate will have one minute to answer each question.
- The deadline for submitting questions is Oct. 7.
The last day to register to vote is Oct. 6. Early voting for the Trustee Election will be held Oct. 20-31.
- Oct. 20-25: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Oct. 26: Noon to 7 p.m.
- Oct. 27-31: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
