CFISD Student of the Week: Ayriana Gray
Sept. 8, 2025—Cypress Lakes High School senior Ayriana Gray is applauded by her teachers for excelling in and out of the classroom.

Grade: 12
Accomplishments: Gray is captain of the Sterling Stars dance team and is social manager for the Cypress Lakes choir. She is also an honor roll student.
Favorite class: “Dance, because it is a healthy environment and a place to express yourself while leading peers.”
Favorite things to do after class: “Sing karaoke and dance.”
Favorite song: “Wide Awake by Katy Perry.”
Favorite website/app: “Instagram, because I can talk with my friends.”
Favorite TV show: “Julie and the Phantoms, because even though her mom passed away, she kept her motivation to keep going because she knew her mom would want her to succeed.”
Favorite movie: “Five Feet Apart, because although they only had one year to live, they lived it to the fullest.”
Ambition: “Knowing what is waiting after graduation and trying out for the University of Houston Cougar Dolls Dance Team.”
What topics/things are you passionate about?: “Science and dance.”
What inspires you?: “My family.”
What three things can’t you live without?: “My inhaler, my stuffed animals and my mom.”
