CFISD Student of the Week: Sebastian Rincones
Jan. 12, 2025—Cypress Creek High School eleventh grade student Sebastian Rincones is praised by his teachers for being a student leader.

Accomplishments: Sebastian is a natural leader in the classroom. His positivity and energy set the tone for his peers. He brings sunshine with him every day and finds ways to make learning fun and memorable when working with his peers. He is patient and thoughtful, often helping classmates understand difficult concepts by explaining them in creative, relatable ways. His humor and playful approach, like coming up with silly examples or wearing a fun costume on Halloween, not only makes others laugh but also makes the school a more welcoming place to everyone. Sebastian communicates clearly and advocates for himself when needed. Sebastian models resilience, kindness and thoughtful communication, inspiring his peers to stay curious, work hard and approach challenges with a positive attitude.
Favorite class: “My favorite classes are Anatomy because I like discovering new things about the body, Pathophysiology because the labs are fun, and Physics because the teacher is super cool and the class is a fun class to me.”
Favorite things to do after class: “My favorite things to do are gaming or sleeping. Both help me unwind and reset.”

Favorite Website/App: “My favorite website is the New York Times Games because they’re silly, fun, and the perfect mental break.
Favorite movie: “My favorite movie is Kubo and the Two Strings because it’s so underrated and incredibly beautiful.”
Ambition: “My ambition is to join the medical field so that I can truly help people in meaningful, medicinal ways.”
What topics/things are you passionate about?: “I’m passionate about exploring new cultures, religions, people, foods and anything related to medicine.”
What inspires you?: “I’m inspired by people’s smiles and laughs, by parties, and by living life in a way that makes the world feel a little less dark.”
What three things can’t you live without?: “I can’t live without games, baking and Christmas.”
