Aug. 19, 2025—The CFISD technology department is hosting a community e-waste drive on Sept. 6 from 8-11 a.m. at the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road). All proceeds from recycled electronics will benefit the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation (CFEF) and Cy-Hope.
Community members can bring their unwanted personal computers, laptops, printers, computer servers, mice, keyboards, phones, routers and any other technology to be dropped off in a drive-thru style format.
“When you recycle electronics, you’re keeping harmful waste out of landfills and technology can be reused either by reselling individual parts or reselling as a whole,” said AJ Reveile, computer technician. “Please come out and support the drive so we can support scholarships through the CFEF and help families through Cy-Hope.”
