What is Bus Buddies?

Bus Buddies

Bus Buddies is a partnership between volunteers and CFISD to provide assistance to elementary students. Bus Buddies help ensure CFISD's youngest riders get off the bus at their correct locations.
The program requires one "Bus Buddy" per elementary bus for the first two days of school (August 19-20, 2024). Volunteers may register to serve for one or both days.
The approximate time commitment is two hours.
All CFISD buses are air-conditioned!

Bus Buddy Tips

Report to the campus that you selected 20 minutes before dismissal time.
All volunteers are required to sign in at the front office. Be sure to have your driver's license with you to sign in.
The campus staff will assist you with any questions and provide you with instructions and your bus assignment.
