Global Volunteers

Global Volunteers devote their time in a CFISD school in which they do not have a child or grandchild to make a significant contribution to the education of children. Global Volunteers contribute in area such as computer and science labs, cultural arts, clerical, career day programs, fundraisers, mentoring, newsletters, public relations, tutoring and assisting in instructional areas and especially helping with the Charlotte Burns Science Resource Center.

Complete an Application
- Fill out the Global Volunteer, Mentor, or imPACT Tutor Application.
  ⚠️ Note: Select only one option on your application based on the type of volunteer you’d like to be.
- Consent to a criminal history record check.
- You will receive login information from donotreply@raptortech.com once approved (may take up to 10 business days).

Learn about Opportunities
- Contact the Community Engagement Liaison at the campus where you wish to volunteer to learn about volunteer opportunities.
- The CFISD Office of Community Engagement will also share volunteer opportunities with global volunteers using the email supplied in your application and list opportunities on the CFISD website.
Log Volunteer Hours
- Log your volunteer hours in the Raptor Volunteer Portal.
- All volunteers who have recorded at least one volunteer hour in the current school year will receive an invitation to the annual VIPS Appreciation Luncheon.
Check in at Front Desk
- Present your driver's license at the school's front desk each time you volunteer and ask the receptionist to log you in as a global volunteer (not a visitor).
