The Cypress-Fairbanks ISD Police Department Honor Guard was established in early 2015. The Honor Guard was founded to serve as the ceremonial unit of the CFISD Police Department. The Honor Guard represents the men and women of the CFISD Police Department, both past and present, and serves as ambassadors of the Police Department and the school district at events on the local, state, and national level. The mission of the Honor Guard is to represent the CFISD Police Department at funerals, parades, ceremonial functions, district sporting events and other special occasions as assigned.

The Honor Guard’s principal function is to render honors to deceased department personnel, state and local officials, and to law enforcement service members who have paid the ultimate sacrifice while in the line of duty. The CFISD Police Department Honor Guard strives to represent the highest standards of service, integrity, and professionalism.
