2017 all-district volleyball players recognized

Nov. 11, 2017—CFISD volleyball coaches released the All-District 17-6A Volleyball Team this week, following the conclusion of each team’s 2017 season.
Langham Creek High School’s Whitney Foreman was named District MVP. Cypress Ridge High School’s Emily Van Slate was named Attacker of the Year.
Langham Creek’s Delaney Anderson was named Setter of the Year for the second consecutive season. Cypress Creek High School’s Maggie Miller was named Defensive Player of the Year.
The Newcomer of the Year award went to Cy-Fair High School’s Rebekah Portalatin. Langham Creek Head Coach Gena Rhodes won Coach of the Year for the second straight season.
