Dec. 21, 2017—Seven CFISD football athletes signed letters of intent to play collegiately for universities and schools during the National Signing Day early period, which began Dec. 20.
The early signing period was held for the first time, allowing athletes three days to sign their letters of intent with Division I football programs. The regular signing period begins Feb. 7 and runs through April 1.

“This has been a tremendous year for CFISD football,” said Raymond Zepeda, director of athletics. “We are proud of the kids that have signed in the first NCAA football early signing period. They will carry the CFISD banner for us as they move on to the next level. We look forward to watching them compete and perform with the best football players in the nation.”
