July 2, 2020—Amanda Boles was named the new assistant superintendent of business and financial services on June 16. Boles replaces Connie Morgenroth, named chief financial officer at Galveston ISD.
Boles started her career in 2011 as an auditor at Deloitte in Houston before moving to Klein ISD in 2012. Boles joins CFISD after 8 ½ years with Klein ISD, where she currently serves as the director of accounting. Boles has experience in accounting, auditing, cash management, grants, bond funds and financial reporting.
Boles received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and her Master of Accountancy from Texas State University. She is a certified public accountant, a registered Texas School Business Administrator and a member of the Texas Association of School Business Officials.
“I am very honored to be named the new assistant superintendent of business and financial services,” Boles said. “I look forward to serving with the CFISD team and continuing the district’s tradition of financial excellence.”
Boles will start on July 13, 2020.
