McMichael earned her bachelor’s degree from Ouachita Baptist University and her Master of Education Administration from Lamar University. In addition, McMichael holds a principal certification, an ILD certification, participated in the Aspiring Principal Institute, and is a graduate of the Rice Educational Entrepreneurship Program.

“I am extremely honored to be named the new principal at Lieder Elementary,” said McMichael. “I look forward to getting to know the staff, children, and their families of our community.
