Favorite thing to do after class: “When I have free time, I like to watch movies, listen to music and hang out with my friends.”
Favorite website/app: “Twitter, because it has a bit of everything. I use it for entertainment or to keep up with events at school and outside of school.”
Favorite TV show: “Grey’s Anatomy, because it’s a long series but it is worth it. The show never gets boring because of all the drama and plot twists they add-in.”
Favorite movie: “Selena, because I’ve been watching this movie since I was a little girl and I never get tired of it. It’s really inspiring watching her chase her dreams and how she impacts others.”
Ambition: “My ambition is to major in music education to become a successful choir director. Once I receive my degree, I would like to teach middle school and build up to high school.”
What topics/things are you passionate about?: “I’m very passionate about doing what I love, which is to sing and improve.”
What inspires you?: “My grandpa was always an important person in my life. He introduced me to music and inspired me to pursue music. When my grandpa passed, it was really hard to take, but I decided to dedicate everything I do with music to him. My grandpa will always be my inspiration to do better and never give up.”
What three things can’t you live without?: “Music, family and friends. Music is a way I can escape reality for a moment and be part of the story that the music is telling. Family is something that never leaves your side. The people I consider family are supportive and keep me going. My closest friends I’ve met are in choir. They’re people I wouldn’t want to live without.”
