Favorite class: AP Art History. It was wonderfulto learn about different pieces of art and relate their characteristics to the time period in which they were made. Also, the class gave me a different perspective on history and provided a break from my science and math classes.

Favorite things to do after class: I like to play tennis with my dad, learn new songs on the guitar, play video games, volunteer at elderly homes, and teach children in India to read and write English over Skype.

Favorite song: I’ll Show You by Justin Bieber

Favorite website: It allows me to learn from other people's life experiences and incorporate these lessons into my own life.

Favorite TV show: SpongeBob SquarePants. The comedy is simply genius.

Favorite movie: Fast & Furious 6, as it emphasizes the values of loyalty and family, with a spectacular display of sleek and fast cars.

Ambition: In order to assist others, my dream is to open my own cardiology practice in Houston and offer free medical services to teachers and veterans. At Yale, I can pursue a degree in biomedical engineering which will enhance my skills for medical school and beyond.

What topics/things are you passionate about? I’m passionate about science, making people laugh through stand-up comedy and volunteering.

What inspires you? My older sister is my source of inspiration because her own personal triumphs in life have shown me that I can accomplish anything I put my mind to.

What three things can’t you live without? Family, friends, and tissues (my nose runs a lot).

What are you most looking forward to this year? As my senior high school year just ended, I am looking forward to spending time with my family and friends and trying new restaurants. In addition, I am excited to start college in a new city this fall.
